Day 1
Arrival in Nairobi

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, a representative from Rugo Miles Africa will warmly welcome you and escort you to your hotel in Nairobi. You will have time to relax, refresh, and recover from your flight before receiving a short briefing about the journey ahead. If time allows, you may explore Nairobi’s top attractions such as the Giraffe Centre, Karen Blixen Museum, or enjoy a cultural dinner experience. Your first night in Kenya is meant to be easy and restful as you prepare for the exciting safari days ahead.

Nairobi to Masai Mara

After breakfast, you depart Nairobi and drive through the Rift Valley region toward the legendary Masai Mara National Reserve. Upon arrival, you check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch before embarking on your first thrilling afternoon game drive. The Mara is known for its abundant wildlife including lions, cheetahs, elephants, and large herds of plains game. As the sun sets over the savannah, return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Full Day in Masai Mara
